The Air Quality Alert for our region has been extended through Saturday, July 18. Wildfire smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to drift into our area, with elevated fine particulate levels expected through the weekend.

We strongly recommend avoiding strenuous outdoor activities, especially for guests with heart disease or respiratory conditions such as asthma. If you experience wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, or eyeshead indoors immediately.

The Air Quality Alert is still technically in effect, but conditions are looking much better.
