Today at Boyne Mountain

The Leaf Peep-ometer is making moves.
We're now at the very top of "half" and inching closer to "near" peak by the minute.

The hills around Boyne Mountain are filling in with reds, oranges, and yellows, and there's a pretty good chance they'll look different by the time you read this. Nature's version of a progress bar, apparently.

And the forecast? Still showing off.

Saturday: sunny, 77°F.
Sunday: mostly sunny, 78°F.

In October. In northern Michigan.

We have questions. We also have absolutely no complaints.

So while the leaves are doing their thing, SkitoberDays is bringing a little extra to the mountain October 10-11 and again October 17-18. Expect live music, roaming performers, inflatables, and enough going on to keep the whole crew entertained. Kids can celebrate free with activity wristbands included with youth SkyBridge Michigan tickets, plus bubble stations and caricatures.

Because apparently half-peak color and 78 degrees wasn't enough.

The music lineup is looking good, too. Chris Michels gets things started Saturday from 11am2pm, followed by Sydni K from 36pm. Robert Yates wraps things up Sunday from noon3pm. All sets are happening at SkyBridge Michigan, so you can take in the fall color and catch a live set at the same time. Multitasking, but make it scenic.

Half-peak color. Nearly-summer temperatures. Live music. A whole weekend of SkitoberDays.

Honestly, October is making a pretty strong case for itself.
