Somewhere out there, the skis are getting waxed for storage. The boot bags are being shoved to the back of the closet. People are making peace with the fact that winter is over.

Not here.

Victor Glacier is packing more than 15 feet of snow, and the Victor lift is spinning 9am-1pm on Saturdays and Sundays for as long as Mother Nature allows. This is what happens when you invest in the best snowmaking technology in the Midwest and refuse to let a little sunshine or some insane rain shut you down. Other resorts tap out. We just keep going.

Last call for Ramshead Terrain Park this weekend. Yes, we're runnin' Rammy, so you don't have to hike it to hit it. Take Victor to the top, traverse across the summit, and then drop into the park.

The forecast is calling for sun and 60s. The kind of day where you peel off a layer at the top and wonder how it's possible to be this warm while standing on this much snow.

The rest of the mountain is waking up. Cruise the bike paths. Swim in an outdoor heated pool. Walk SkyBridge Michigan and look out over a landscape that can't quite decide if it's winter or summer, and is better for it.
